Lynn has volunteered with various shelters over the years including "Friends for Life" in Phoenix, Arizona, a No Kill Shelter for Dogs and Cats as well as Liberty Wildlife in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Before founding Doolittles Pet Products she worked for Motorola and started a program to capture and spay or neuter the feral cats living in Motorola's parking lot. Over 40 cats were captured with most finding homes and only a handful put down to untreatable disease.
