September is here and did you know that it’s also the month to celebrate and recognize National Service Dogs? That’s right - September is National Service Dog Month and we want to celebrate and educate those near and dear to our hearts.
Are you familiar with the history of service dogs and what tasks they are often given and asked to assist with? Service dogs are known as those who assist debilitating medical conditions, from autism to blindness, seizure disorders and hearing impairments, diabetes and those who need physical assistance. Often serving our wounded warriors suffering from conditions like PTSD, traumatic brain injuries, and mobility issues.
Today, this month, and forever - we thank service dogs across the globe for everything they do for us and those around us each and everyday.
